Symbolism in To Kill A Mockingbird
The Mockingbird~ The mockingbird symbolizes something really important in the book. The mockingbird is a symbol of one of the characters. In the book it says it is a sin to kill a mockingbird. This also represents Tom Robinson because he lost his life for no reason. He just wanted to help people and he was innocent throughout the whole trial.

White supremacy is a racist belief that the Caucasian race is superior to the other races. the snow fell over everything turning the town white. just how people who believe in white supremacy are. They believe they are the number one race and others are lower. The snow covers and blocks the colors of the world. just like white supremacy covers the other people. |
The fire of Mrs. Maudies's house stands for cleansing the neighborhood. The fire cleansed the obstacle of Mrs. Maudie. Mrs. Maudie believed that racism is unjust and people emitted her for it. they set fire to her house to get rid of her because she didn't think like them. The fire didn't burn her, she is strong and tall.
